I have got got this email from Phillips, I am sorry didnt know where else on the board to post it so please dont shout at me,

Thanks I received this too and mine is one of the ones affected! Will have to wait till tomorrow to register it though.

i won mine in the competition recently that everyone on here did and mine is effected im guessing that means all the ones people won are!

I gopt mine in Argos before Xmas, and mine is affected too, I'll be lost without it!

I have just arranged to have mine sent back for servicing. What happens is that initially they send you a descaling solution to use on the machine and then they send you(via DHL) a package to return it. if you are mug enough you can deliver the machine to a DLH depot, but if you insist they will organise DHL to collect it from you. The problem is that heavily scaled a machines COULD burst if there was an electrical surge/malfunction but as yet nobody has been hurt wtih this problem

Thanks to the OP.

Just called and my Senseo is also affected.
They also tried very firmly to get me to take it to the depot, but I explained that it would be difficult for me, so they are aranging to pick it up (it wasn't easy to get them to agreee to this though).

I'll be without my machine for 12 days (according to the helpline)..instant coffee for 12 days.. YUUUK!
