I have emailed & am just waiting for them to come back, This would be perfect for me as Ive been looking for a tyre I could use to decorate my sons room. Was thinking of rolling it in paint then running it up the wall to make tyre tracks. Hopefully I can find one thats light enough.
    Thanks for the thread.

    Hi Kprigg,

if you get a tyre get 2 then try cutting 1 in half and have a practice with it that shoulod make it lighter,if it doesnt work you still have the other 1

Hi, Thats very good advice, Thanks for that. Ive already got it, but I may be able to go back for another one as your right about having a practice first.

I phoned them & explained why I needed it & the lady was great & even managed to find an old tractor tyre (not a big one though!) which was very light - even lighter then a car tyre.
Ive got it in the back of my car & it just needs a hose down then I can use it. Its quite wide so I may be able to cut it in half length ways (fortunately hubbie has some good cutting tools), or I may use it more like a stamper then rolling it.
Im so happy - Ive been looking for something like this for a few months & as we are redecorating this Easter Im so pleased Ive got it.
Thanks again to the OP aswell  you will make one little boy very happy!

  • Old motorcycle or smallish tyres are cracking toys for giant breed dogs...My 2 have one hanging from a rope in a tree and a few that they sling around....unfortunately this is too far for me to travel to get anymore as mine are all a little chewed now!!!
