I referred a new OP to the correct CAB web-site about a fortnight ago. The alter ego was called https://www.citizensadvice.....
It was only when the OP mentioned charges for a DMP through CAB that I checked where they had actually taken advice.

The OFT seems to be developing some teeth at last!
Hopefully , we'll see no more of Credit Card Consolidation Service, Citizens Debt Advice Bureau and National UK Debtline.
Another one that irritates me is The Insolvency Helpline, which is NOT the helpline of the Insolvency Service.0 -
