Free MP3 player. Genuine!!

Now here's one of those borderline freebies that I constantly come across.

Register (for Free) and attend The National Direct Marketing Show exhibition at the NEC (For Free) and you will be given an MP3 player. (Guess how much!)

anyway, I'm posting this on the freebies board but will leave it to the mods to move should they see fit after all, if you live in B/Ham then you wont have far to go, or, if you intend to visit anyway then it'll qualify.

Enough rambling.

Only visitors who pre-register and attend IDMF 2006 qualify for the free MP3 player.
Pre-registered visitors will be issued with a voucher for redemption of the MP3 player. Only visitors who present this voucher at the IDMF 2006 will be able to claim their free MP3 player. Visitors who register after 4th May 2006 will be given their voucher upon their arrival at the show with their visitor entry badge.
No MP3 players will be issued after the close of the show at 17.00 on Thursday 11th May 2006.
Exhibiting stand personnel are excluded from this promotion.
    6. This offer is limited to the MP3 player as outlined, and carries no monetary alternative.

I think you've got it wrong - the free MP3 player is for those attending the International Direct Marketing Fair 2006 - which is 9-11th May (as viewtiful said) at Earl's Court, London...?

    Oooops, absolutely right.

    Thanks for pointing that out.

I stand corrected. Sorry Brummies. It's for Earls Court not the NEC.

    Nearer to me now, though.:)

Hi xycom1, this offer is definitely available in Birmingham. I know because I went there last year, when they were giving away free cd players, and the organisers sent me an email this year which said:
    VISIT THE SHOW
FREE MP3 PLAYER for everyone that pre-registers and then visits the National Venue Show – held at the NEC, Birmingham from the 19th - 21st September 2006.
Rizla01 didn't know about this because they just took the details of my post from the HotUk forums and posted them less than two hours later here without giving any credit. (Rizla01 also posts on HotUK with the same username).

If anyone wants to register for the Birmingham National Venue Show at the NEC, the link is HERE

Tickets also provide entry for the other two exhibitions co-located at the venue.

Thanks for noticing that this offer is also running in London. I've update my post in the HotUK forums and given you and viewtiful credit for this.

Hi rizla01, Brummies aren't missing out at all (despite what you posted on HotUK), but it looks like you've been found out.

Thanks to you both for this. I'm actually interested in this as I'm looking to market my new business and I'm sure I can find some help here! :D

Didn't rizla01 have a thing in his sig that said something like, "I get these from elsewere, so thanks to them" at one point? Or was that someone else?

I did do, Fanris, but I considered that the current sig is of more importance than giving credit to the original source of some of my finds.

I would say that the poster on the other forum should have either posted on here in the first place or not complain about it.

The net is free for all as far as I'm aware and as stated before I will post finds on here no matter WHERE I find them.
