Unbeknown to me my daughter put her new dark denim skirt in with was and all the white/light coloured clothes are wrecked!! I put the stained clothes in a quick wash straight away but no joy!
Haven't got any transport to go out and buy any stain removers/laundry savers etc.
Has anyone got any 'home remedies' to save these clothes please!!
Thanks!!!

I would whack a small cup of thin bleach through the soap drawer and put on a warm long wash. If necesary stop the machine a couple of times and leave to soak for 5 mins at a time. Don't put bio powder in at the same time cos bleach and enxymes counter each other out.
Follow this with a long hot wash with washing powder.

Thanks MATH
I will give that a go....is it safe on white/pink colours?0 -
If they are pale I think they will be OK. I have a top-loader machine with an agitator so I use bleach routinely for pastals and whites and I havn't had any damaged yet.Life's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0

you could try putting bicarb in the wash.
Dont put anything acidic in eg vinegar ,salt or lemon juice,it might fix the colour.0 -
how did you get on?0
