Bearing in mind it's the start of the Easter break so get wherever you want to go early!!! Bound to be heaving, unless it snows!! Hope to go Fort George myself, kids will love that. Wrap up warmly, it's always been freezing no matter the time of year.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. Thamks probably try to fit in Fort George and Urquart Castle.
(that's if it doesn't clash with F1 or a caley home game, grrrr)0 -
Ooh, thanks for this! We enjoyed a free visit to Edinburgh Castle last year courtesy of this offer. Going to try somewhere different this time.I have the mind of a criminal genius. I keep it in the freezer next to Mother....0

Many thanks for this, have visitors from Australia who want to do a lot of the sights, so they will be pleased to save a few pennies.0

Isn't that a wonderful idea - I've been waiting to take the kids to Edinburgh Castle for ages now, but never could justify the cost to myself! They have a good offer on their membership, too - 18 months for the price of 12 if you take it out during the free weekend, so you'd get 2 summers worth out of it - can't be bad!
Thanks for posting, I always seem to miss opportunities like this!0 -
Looks like there are going to a lot of MSErs heading to Historic Scotland sites soon. Wonder if there will be any Money Saving Expert car stickers spotted in the car parks of the sites.
I think English Heritage do a similar thing in September, don't they?“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0
