  • I've just seen a thread going for Prima mag, so assume this is the same sort of thing. Apologies for repost.

"No more than one Hair Group voucher per person can be redeemed in a 12 month period."

If you've already taken up the Prima offer, I think this is the same group, so beware (spose you could use different details/phone number, and go in disguise....)

I bought Good housekeeping magazine last year to get free hair cut from this group, haven't heard anything since. Emailed them etc, but in vain. I don't trust them any more. Don't buy the magazine simply for this is my advice.
  • this offer has been in weight watchers mag before, last year but the salons are very few and far between, still waiting for them to open one near enough for me to visit

I looked in the WW mag in WH Smith this week but couldn't see it in there on page 26.
The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.
  • Does anyone know if this offer includes male haircuts?
Perhaps it depends on the local salon in which case mine are in Hertford or Stevenage.
  • Thanks for that. I have a subcription to the WW Mag and I didn't even see it on page 26 when I paged through when I received the mag the other day.
I have just now completed the coupon and hopefully this time I will get an appointment.

They ran this offer in the WW Mag last year. I completed the coupon and never heard from them. Well I did once as they sent me a letter to say there were no salons in my area and they will contact when this changes. This was not the case because I did a check on their website where you key in your postcode. There was a salon 5 minutes drive away where I do my shopping every week.

I didn't bother to chase it up at the time.

So, hopefully this time I will be lucky.

Oh, and Malcolm I am almost certain the offer includes a cut and blow for men.
Why shouldn't it! It's hair after all, nothing to discriminate.

I sent my coupon registered post. Only 66p extra and you get a receipt and they have to sign for it so you have proof then

I have just looked at another website that is run by 'the hair group's marketing agency and this shows you all the magazines that run the promotions...

The schedules are only for 2004/2005 but the march 05 schedule has prima mag in it and the april 05 one has WW mag in it! Seems they have run quite a few of these promotions and mainly for a free cut!
    look here >>> http://www.more-leads.co.uk/hair_promotionsched.htm
    Promotions

    * All salons will take part in offers run by the group, such as the ever popular Free Cut & Blow Dry.

    * The Hair Group run a national promotion.

    * Readers (prospects) send their coupons to The Group.

    * The Group matches up the prospects with a salon member in their local area.

    * The salon member receives a list of local prospects which they call and book in at their mutual convenience.

    * Happy promotional customers equal full paying regulars.

Best of all it says that they ran a promotion in the April 05 edition of the ASDA magazine (check out the April link!) and if i remember correctly that is a freebie mag you can pick up at the end of the checkouts! may be a real freebie after all if they run it again this year!! :T

Its a shame they dont seem to have updated the info this year tho :( but worth keeping an eye out for other offers! There are links to their sister sites such as the beauty group and the travel group who all seem to run similar promotions!
