Angry HBOS/Lloyds TSB anomoly

Hi Martin & team,

Our £120k HBOS tracker mortgage product finished in December & we then reverted to their 4.50%* Standard Variable Rate (SVR).

Our question is – now HBOS has been swallowed by Lloyds TSB/C&G with massive help from us taxpayers shouldn’t the SVR now be uniform across all their brands?

The 1% difference means we pay £ 66 pcm ( £ 792 pa ) more than a Lloyds TSB/C&G mortgage customer on 3.50%* SVR.

Regards

Paul & Karen.

* rates from 1st Feb 2009 following latest BofE 0.5% cut.

Assume 1st – then check the facts!
