alliance & leicester pass on november cut

Well..got a letter from alliance & leicester telling me they are cutting the rate by 1.1%
So in November I they cut by 0.25% (after the bank of England cut by 0.5% in September
In December they cut by 1.1% (after the bank of England cut by 1.5%)
I am just hoping in light of this new 1% cut they continue to pass on some of the cuts.

yeah, I bet they will, bout 0.75 of it and not till Jan 4th! Swines the lot of em and they have so many of us right where they want usThe will to save every money saving penny we can0

The thing that really gets on my wick is that Abbey passed on the entire 1.5% last month and A&L only did 1.1% yet they're owned by the same damn company - Santander!!
Surely they should do the same?
I supppose i should be greatful to have a tracker mortgage at all but it does seem pointless if the BofE reduce rates to try and boost the economy and it doesn't get passed on.
Maybe with the new 1% cut Abbey will pass on only 0.6 and A&L will pass on the whole 1% thereby bringing parity.
Although i'm probably living in dreamland.0 -
