Default £35 Tux & £12 little black dress from ASDA

What's the deal?

ASDA is offering his and hers dirt cheap Christmas outfits available in store & online. For £35 you can get a full tux and for the ladies a little black dress can be had for £12.

His

This is an absolute bargain and may well be cheaper than hiring a tux. For £35 you get a single breasted jacket with satin lapels and satin covered buttons. The slim fit trousers have satin trim and jacquard lining. Plus the whole suit is machine washable. For an extra £10 you can get a white cotton shirt and a bow tie.

The jacket and trousers are available in long, short and regular sizes.

Link to the suit: £35 Tux

Hers

You can get a diamante trim wrapover dress with a gathered waistband for a bargainous £12.

Both the tux and the dress are available in store.

The tux is available online but if you do buy online you'll need to pay an extra £3.95 for delivery. The dress is sold out online but you should still be able to pick one up in store if you're quick.

P.S. Thanks to all that posted about these offers before, we've started a new post for people coming from the weekly email.

I had a look at these in store, they may disappoint some as it's a jersey cotton type material and looks more glam in the photos. Still for £12........!

I purchased one of these a couple of years ago for "Prom" and it looked very smart.

Local hire charges were much higher

but ..... I waited till after christmas as it wasnt needed till May and got it for less than £20 including shirt and dickie as it is something they only stock for the christmas period and one of the first things to get reduced for a very short time after [ any left after sale period get returned to a central stocking unit]

I bought a tux a couple of weeks ago for a black tie event, the jacket is £25 and trousers £10, I was amazed at the quality, I saw the same suit in another shop for £70. A real bargain.

a few years ago, I sourced a full tux, shirt & bow tie for £25 from Charity shops. The more middle class towns are probably better for this, I got mine from Cambridge shops

These suits are also available from Matalan in all sizes. If you buy the suit you get the shirt and dickie free.

I have one of the diamante Asda dresses and though the fabric is jersey as someone else said, it fits well and looks nice on even if I do say so myself A real bargain at £12!

I would check your local store before going down this route though as ours can't keep them on sale (even had people in before they'd even arrived instore because a sunday paper ran the article a week early!)

Other source for a tux is charity shops - bought rather nice ones £5.00 each a couple of years ago. One of our best buys ever.

Another source of cheap party wear is to swop with friends, its something friends and I have been doing for some time and it works a treat.

Arrow ASDA out of stock

Asda were out of stock in my size so went to Matalan where they offer Tux, shirt and tie for £50, quality about the same.

I also bought the diamonte dress as the other one was a bit too figure hugging. The dress is a great fit and for £12 a great buy as long as everyone is not wearing it the same nite as me

Goooooo with the Flowwwwww
