Yeah when it's said over and over by people it does lose it's edge a bit. I suppose it's better than "I'll give it 50% - the rest of my effort I dedicate to XBOX !!!" (Altho that may be more accurate!)

I must say, I did prefer watching Britains Got The Pop Factor... and possibly a new Jesus Christ Soapstar SuperStar Strictly On Ice. The quality of acts and judging was 1000% better than the X-factor.

Hi That 110% annoys me as well. And as for the phrase "very unique" well don't get me started on that one. As I have screamed at the TV many a time, there are no degrees of uniqueness, something is unique or it isn't.

in theroy great but I was more than happy when I was told in my annual review (alas not linked to pay!) that I give 110%!! Good also to hear that there was some relaxation and chill time after a dire week!

Whether true or not, there is nothing wrong with this statement. No reason why one thing can't be 1000% better than something else. Finding £11 on the street is 1000% better than finding £1 on the street.

I was always deeply distressed by Ant and Dec on Pop Idol who announced the contestant with the 'least votes'. Happily, the lovely Dermot knows the difference between least and fewest.
