Well you've all been busy while I've been out! Am now waxed and polished (well, eyelashes dyed anyway:rolleyes: ), and have booked a body scrub for next week and a pedicure for the week after as Pigpen keeps putting it on the list! I also now have an invitation to the salon's anniversary do next Friday, so free food, drink & treatments! I also have lots of sample sachets which I won't use because of the ingredients (synthetic chemicals), so if anyone wants half a dozen comfort zone tester sachets, let me know as I can put them in the post (together with some John Frieda shampoo sachets and shower gel one as well, which I've just found on the dresser).

Off to hang out the washing and then send a sternly-worded email to a supplier!

If anyone finds my get and and go could they also return that? It seems to have made a bid for freedom...

Come on Natty - just do a HHC and you will feel better - go get dressed hun and join me 12:30-1:00 then you can enjoy a lunch break.

Just waiting for soup to come to the boil so I can bung it in the AGA whilst I do my next lot of NCT stuff.

Polka - what happened about the bag in the end - I seem to have missed the end result

ChristmasShopper - welcome. This thread will change your life :D . As you've come in at the end of the week, don't try to catch up, as everything will come round again (with variations, as Pigpen likes to keep us on our toes).

You don't have to iron your dusters and have colour-coded pegs, but if you do, Valli & Tag will be keen to enrol you in their laundry fetish support group ;)

It's amazing how quickly things will sort themselves out if you tick a few things off each time, and as you make progress it gets easier, as the starting point is better every week. I can now have visitors... as long as they don't go into my study!

Thanks for having me. I will try really hard to follow the rules. I will aim to be able to have visitors by half-term.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D

Serena Depends on the amount of data (and your eyes) but try zooming the page. Also freeze the top panes, that way your headers never leave the top row-would help if I could see what your doing (you could mail it to me:) )
SS glad you're feeling better, I got my cookworks sc from Argos for £10 and its a dream.
Dusty You are far more brave than I am-the loft is DF's domain. Oh the bag is still hanging on the back of my LR door, she mailed me calling me a thief and I figured Id wait till Im calm and put it on freecycle:) She gets the same groups mails:)...also, excuse my saffer ignorance-but WHAT EXACTLY is an AGA? (I really hope you're not laughing)

I think DS2 might have slept through last night. I woke up and couldn't remember getting up to him through the night, DH said he heard him murmur then settle, and he didn't think i'd got up. So, either i have no marbles left from being sleep deprived, or he slept through. ;) Hopefully this is the start of better times. :D I felt quite bad if i hadn't heard him, but i am thinking that perhaps it is time now to move him out of our room and then i will only hear him if he really needs me. Then i might be a human being again instead of an automaton.

I've made soup in the SC today, which we have had for lunch with some for the freezer, and got chilli out the freezer for tonights meal. I was going to take the boys to playgroup but DS1 really had a paddy over mealtime, he kept getting down from the table, and trying to help himself to a pudding before eating much of the main course. I was mean and refused to let him, so in the end he went to bed. He's also had a smacked bum for jumping on top of his brother twice while he was laid on the settee, and a spell in the naughty corner for tormenting the cat - can i swap him for an 18yo yet?

No real plans for today - i need to get a white wash on as DS2 keeps being sick and i have nearly run out of vests and babygros. I also promised to bake a chocolate cake for my nephew's birthday which is tomorrow, so i guess that will need doing tonight. I will also need an emergency shopping trip tomorrow to get him a present. I was hoping to be organised but i've spent too much time helping my other sister with college work recently.
