Cake help needed please

Bought a lovely snowman cake tin today! I know how to make the lovely cake mix to go in it but anyone any idea of baking times/temps? Its about two foot tall and the middle of it is about one foot (tapering of course cos he's a snowman!).

    i'd do it on a medium heat, and get a skewer and keep checking after first half hour when its done in the middle.

    i have a star one and i have to do it on a lowheat other wise points burn and middle raw.

    It might be an idea to wrap newspaper round the outside (like you do with Christmas cake) to stop it burning on the sides. Try using it about 4 pages thick then you can always take layers off if it isn't cooking at the edges.

    I'd cover the top too until it is nearly done otherwise it might burn.
    When life hands you a lemon, make sure you ask for tequilla and salt ;)
