I have searched and can't find this one anywhere! I saw it on a leaflet from Woolworths. If you text LAPTOP to 490181 you are entered in the "Sim To Win" draw. Enter each day, for free, to be entered into the next day's draw. You'll receive a confirmation text. No charge, I checked!! :rotfl:

You can request free T-Mobile sim cards from loads of places and I've tried to link the T-Mobile site for requesting on here but this site doesn't like the url and blocks it - sorry!! Type "Free Pay As You Go Mobile Phone SIM cards - T-Mobile" and it should take you to the site.


Unfortunately, this only seems to work for "Pay-As-You-Go" sims and not contracts but if this isn't the case please let me know!

How to enter

• The prize draw for a chance to win one of 136 MacBook Air Laptops is open from 18 August to 31 December 2008.
• To enter, just buy any new T-Mobile pay as you go mobile phone online, over the phone or in selected stores, put the T-Mobile SIM card into the phone and text LAPTOP to 490181 between 18 August and 31 December 2008.

Eligibility

• You must be a UK resident aged 16 or over to enter and must provide T-Mobile with proof of age and ID if we ask for it.
• This competition isn't open to T-Mobile employees or their contractors, agencies, promoters, or any companies directly connected with the promotion, or their immediate family.

Prize draw

• The prize is one MacBook Air Laptop, given away each day of the promotion.
• 1 winner will be drawn per day at random, under independent supervision, from all the people who entered the draw on the previous day.
• You can only enter the draw once per day, and there is a maximum of one prize per person for the duration of the promotion.
• For weekday draws, T-Mobile will contact the winner on the day of the draw.
• For weekend draws and bank holidays, T-Mobile will contact the winner the next working day.
• The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Prize notification

• We will contact the winner on their newly connected T-Mobile mobile phone number. If the call isn't answered, T-Mobile will try to contact the winner again over the next two days. We will leave a message requesting the winner to call back within 1 week on the number provided to claim the prize, otherwise the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be chosen.
• The winner will need to provide their name and address to T-Mobile once we've told them that they have won. The prize will be couriered to this address and the winner will have to sign for it. The winners' details will only be used for the purposes of this prize draw.
• Details of winners [names and counties] will be made available upon written request to: MacBook Air Promotion, Sales Campaign Management, T-Mobile UK Ltd, Hatfield Business Park, Hatfield, Hertfordshire, AL10 9BW.

Other information

• You won't be able to ask us to send or sell your gift to anyone else or swap it for anything else and you won't be able to get actual cash instead.
• If we unexpectedly run out of Macbook Air Laptops, we will give you a similar gift of greater or equal value instead.

newly connected?? Wondering about this bit, they make no reference as to when you have to purchase the phone just when you have to enter the comp as I read it (see purple text above) or am I being pedantic?
