Hi all,

Been on the lookout for one of these beasties...anyone know the cheapest place to get one?

I've come across this:

It seems like a misprice, maybe, and isn't in stock...but do you think there's a chance I could be cheeky and get someone to price match it?

    If they have them at your local Dixons or Currys go in and tell them about the PC World price, they will match it no questions asked since they are all part of Dixons group.

    Decent price, I've had the 205 for a while, nice bit of kit. Snap it up, esp if the 305 is the same price.
    Quite possibly a mis-price given that Amazon (who are normally cheapest) are £130.

    I printed the PC world details off. Took it to Halfords and got it price matched! £100 off!!!! :j

    Thanks v much. Its on charge now and cant wait to use it tomorrow :beer:

    eta: curses! no stock in halfords *anywhere* near me...

    Sent a mate into his local to try and pick one up for me...apparently they pretty much laughed him out of the store...might have to go somewhere further afield myself and have a go...

    Went to Halfords today to try and get the price matched...they wouldn't do it, which was a little gutting, but they had the 205 for 109 - a pretty good price, so thought we'd just plump for that, but then, as luck would have it, the only one left was the display model, which they sold to me, as new, for £69 - bargain enough for me :)

    I didn't notie how old this thread was, printed out hte PC World webpage, took it to halfords, and got a Garmin 305 for £39.97! Result! Thank you.
