ok so today i wakes up
to find an advent clander from sky thought oh probs junk bin it,
then saw an argos card in there,
so rung them up
i am having a new box 3 month contract, And they are activating my argos card within 72 hours with 50 squidsss help me out a treat for xmas
you choose of either
1, a new box
2, if you have a debt of £50 they wipe it
3, 3 months free viewing
they guys coming out sunday to install it

I was really pee'd about this, my direct debitr was missed , I reconnected and paid all the charges, then that letter came through this morning, and they wouldn't give me the offers cos I'd already paid up. So if you don;t pay and lose your contract you can have this offer, it is valid until the end of the month and the promotion code is merry chrsitmas 4, but it isn't on the normal number and I don't have the other one with me at the moment.
I assume each Argos card has it's own number, and as I do not intend to pay DD this month to see if I can get offer (expires 31/12/05) so can't give that out.There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0 -

I also received the Calendar, the offer actually states free installation or 3 months 1/2 price. The card you receive enables a £50 purchase at Argos which is pretty handy for Xmas.
The way around the options is to choose the Sky+ box which cost £49 which includes a new install, and take the 3 months 1/2 price. Be aware though the sky+ is only free while you subscribe to packages over £30, under £30 and you pay £10 per month.
If you take the SKY+ BOX you are signing into a 12 MONTH contract, if you only accept the new installation or the 3 months 1/2 price the contract is only a 3 month tie in..
This may be different as they are quite unpredictable!!

How long after cancelling or being disconnected are people getting their calendars ?
We rang to cancel (getting turned off 15th December
) & were not offered any discounts etc so wonder if we'll be sent one too 0 -
my missed DD was at the end of October, so not sure when my contract ended, but I would imagine you could try this any time after 15th, I doubt they know who they've sent the offer to.There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0
