It's back! Get your age as a discount at Malmaison hotels over the bank holiday

What's the deal?

How old are you? The older the better for this deal.

Book a room at posh hotel Malmaison between Friday 23 May and Mon 26 May, and the age of the oldest person staying in the room will be discounted as a percentage off the room rate (must be proved with a passport/driving licence).

Thus...

If you're 40 you get 40% off.

If you're 60 you get 60% off.

If you're 100 it's FREE

This offer was on earlier this year for Mother's Day, and only women were eligable for the discount. Now everyone can grab it.

Go quick the stock is limited, but don't assume its always cheaper

Obviously the older you are the more stonking the deal. Yet it's worth being aware this promotion's cheapest room rate starts from a heftier-than-normal £145 (£215 if in London) which is quite a lot higher than its normal online rate of £99, or £125 in London; thus for younger souls it's not always worth it.
  • If you're under 30, this offer won't save you money compared to booking online at any other time in the year.
  • Those between 30 & 50 should double check the price after discount compared to booking online, as it all depends on the type of room you're after.
  • If you're over 50, or taking someone over 50, you should be saving on your stay.
  • Last time a few people complained this was an agist offer and discriminatory thus MSE shouldn't list it. Yet our policy is anti-agism which means making sure we ensure we tell older MoneySavers when they can save too... hence the inclusion.
It'd be great to hear if anyone gets it free or nearly free.
The winner last time this offer was on A night in a £235 room for £4.50 as her mum is....... 98yrs old!!!!

How to get your discount

Decide which Malmaison hotel you want to stay in and call 0845 3654 247, quoting 'passport'.

Once you arrive at the hotel, simply show the receptionist a photographic proof of ID (either a passport or driving licence will do).

Visit the hotel's website to read the promotion's full terms and conditions.

My Granddad is 97 - but he lives in Germany, and flying him over would negate the room cost savings, LOL!
