Lightbulb Populous Game Download

Poulous is very much like age of mythology were your command your amry and cast download spells.

Spells:
Volcano
Angel of death(Bird that kill everyone)
Earthquake
Firestorm
And many more.

This game is brillant but getting old now.
Heres the list of versions.

Populous 1
Populous 1 EX
Populous 2
Populous 3
Populous 3 EXP Undiscovered Worlds
Populous 4 BETA Verison

The latest one is Populous 4 which can be downloaded from this link.
The reason why its free is because its a test version and has minior bugs.
It should work with all Windows.

Cool

During that game's development phase I was invited along to preview it at EA's HQ. I sent my younger brother instead, he got to see a rather basic prototype which was yet unnamed. EA then had a brainstorming session to come up with possible titles and he put forward "Populous." All we got from it all was a free game (not Populous) and not even a mention in the credits. God knows what it could have been called had I gone.

How do I get this to work?

I downloaded it and now have two icons on my desktop, Popfix and the Populousaoc, I've clicked on everything (inc 'my computer' C Drive and all the files in there)

I'm confused ...(doesn't take much!)

Just run, run and keep on running!

Lightbulb Heres some advice!

Dont you just install it then then go to your program files folder then populous AOC folder and right click the populousaoc.exe and click send to desktop. It should work then but I think on the first run you run the populous fix. Any questions?

Does this game make anyone else feel travel sick when its zooming around the world during tutorials etc?
Mebbe its cos i can only display game resolution of 800x600 on my monitor which goes larger?
Shame, makes me feel bit iffy tho!!

Loved the original back in my Amiga days (when computers were friendly) played a bit last night and loved it, though still waiting for the bugs to bite. Cheers

I was having the same problem - I just ended up going round in circles, until I decided to try it in Internet Explorer rather than Firefox - worked then.

... all I need are the pencils ... wibble!
