Competition Terms and Conditions
This prize draw is open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands, and Isle of Man aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Associated Newspapers Ltd, Thai Airways International, WestEast Travel, their families, agents or anyone else professionally associated with the draw.
Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decisions of the promoters are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entries must be submitted via Metro.co.uk. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of despatch will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The winner will be selected by a panel of judges from all entries received by the closing date.
One entrant will win a 10-night holiday for two to Thailand. The prize includes two return economy class flights with Thai Airways from London Heathrow; four nights in Bangkok and six nights in Phuket, Thailand. Accommodation is five-star in a twin or double room on a room-only basis. The prize does not include travel in the UK, travel insurance, food and drink, personal expenditure and incidental costs, other than those stated. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to ensure they have a valid passport and travel insurance and obtain any necessary vaccinations and visas for their trip.
The prize must be booked before June April 30th, 2010 and is valid for travel between the following dates: May 1st and June 30th, 2010. The prize is subject to availability, non transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
Flights do not qualify for Royal Orchid Plus Frequent Flyer accrual, Executive Lounge access and flights cannot be upgraded.
The winner may be required to participate in unpaid promotional publicity (including photographic shoot and interview).
Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with a prize of equivalent value in the event of circumstances outside their control. All descriptions, specifications and images of prizes used in promotional material are valid at the time of print. Colours and other minor specifications of prizes may differ from those illustrated.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entries which it believes have not been made in compliance with these terms and conditions, or any individual that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this prize draw.
The Metro is responsible for the first part of the promotion, which is the publication and adjudication of the prize draw. All other facilities connected with the provision of the prize are the responsibility of WestEast Travel.
The information collected for the prize draw will be used for the purposes of administering the prize draw and by opting in on the entry form you are giving your permission to be contacted with special offers from the promoters of this competition but can unsubscribe at any time.
