Good afternoon lovely DFWs

Now for anyone looking in, please feel free to join - the more the merrier! Basically, decide on the amount you want to spend up to from Sunday until the end of the working day on Friday then pledge it here and off we go! The challenge is about incidental spending and not for stuff that should be budgeted elsewhere such as bills, groceries, debt repayment etc but you decide what to include at the end - this is about changing your habits and improving your recording of your spends more than anythng else.

Have a great week everyone and keep it low!!!

Hiya Pap, not joined in with this one before but I'll have a go at it this week. Going to start with a budget of £20 and see how I go on with that.

If anyone sees me spending money unnecessarily, please give me a gentle kick up the backside :)

I'm technically green as I did only spend £17.01 on my bus fares, lunches etc.. though I've been cheating myself a bit with having nights out and not counting them under any sort of budget :o

I've also messed up on my not smoking thing today - manged two nights out in the pub without it but got really stressed out earlier and bought some, so £2.86 today on something I don't really want or need.. horribly skint again two weeks before payday so kicking myself for spending that...

Anyway, starting afresh tomorrow.. hopefully just bus fares this week, so I'll try for £10.

Hi Pap, and everyone else of course,

I am about to be turned red   as I spent £76 last week - on top of budgeted items, such as shopping.
The annoying thing is that I can't see where it has all gone, since I did nothing out of the ordinary, but even after adding it up three times, there it is.
Sorry PaP - I will try to keep to my £40 next week.
