`Improving ` value washing powder?

Hi

I have used `value` washing powder with limted sucess and was thinking of how it could be improved?

I have 2 primary school aged boys so lots of stains about.

Thinking about mixing it with soda crystals and a powder stain remover ?

Do you think this would be an ok mix?

Or would I be better off going for a more expensive brand?

thanks

  • I buy ACE stain remover approx 1.99 a bottle, dilute it with half water and transfer to a spray bottle to use by spraying a little on your stained clothes pre wash, a little goes a long way and a bottle usually lasts me about 2 -3 months.
I use tesco value washing powder all the time, large box about 1.87 ish and this along with my ace spray and a 40 degree cycle, does the trick on all our clothes. I have an 8 yr old son who is full of mud and grass stains daily! Even his white school polo tops come out like new every wash.
I used to use own brand or named brand powder but think it would strip to the colours out of clothes so switched to value powder as it is gentler on colours I find.
I love ace bleach, would never be without it!
  • I mix soda crystals with mine it works for me
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
