I need a new washing machine and dryer (individual)

My mother is looking for a new washing maching and tumble dryer, they must be seperate so that she can do lots of washing (good lady)
She went into Comet for a rough guide and they recommended the Bosch WAE28162 Washing Machine for £349.99 and the Bosch WTA4007 dryer for £229.99.
After a quick search on the net I found I can get these for £264.99 and £193 inc. delivery from https://www.electrical123.com
My first question is are these good washing machines and tumble dryers?
A quick search on here seems to suggest Bosch, Zanussi and AEG seem to be the best.
As my Mum wants them to be matching (sad I know) they must be of the sam brand.
Are the ones I suggested suitable? Or should she go for the Zanussi ZWF1431W for £252.99 and the matching dryer, Zanussi TD4113 for £143.99 from the same site.
her only specs are that the washer must be 1400 spin, and the dryer must be vented.
Input appreciated.
Cheers

I bought a Beko condenser tumble dryer for £199 and it is fantastic. Also John Lewis own brand washing machines are good. I think they are made by Bosch and then a different label put on them.0

Apparently we can't have a condenser type dryer in the room it goes in it must be a vented one.
Someone else recommended John Lewis but they seem quite pricey!0 -
Hiya,
I've just bought a new bosh dish washer and washing machine (different model from Tesco but I can recommend it, It's part of the classixx series.) Mine is the model below yours and a 1200 spin which is fine with me and I have 3 sons. Only annoying thing is once the machine is finished it beeps 3 times which is fine if you have it on during the day but alas did I not put mine on before going to bed to be woken by the 3 beeps - 3 beeps at minute intervals until you turn the machine off that is! You have been warned!!!
Anyway the model number you are looking at is only £246 at Dixons with a voucher code which expires on 28.2.07 plus delivery. (voucher code is on the www.dealpond.co.uk website.)
http://dealpond.co.uk/browse/id=56394/q=Bosch+WAE28162/Bosch-WAE28162-Washing-Machine This is where I got the info from.
Drier is slightly dearer at £197.98 at Dixons and Comet, delivery is free with both of them.

Hope this helps.

Hi,
I have just bought a washing machine from John Lewis. If you log onto https://www.washerhelp.co.uk you will find all the help you need to make a decision. The man who runs/owns this site has an amazing knowledge of washing machines and if you take a look for yourself, I think you'll agree. I was pretty impressed to say the least with John Lewis and as I bought one of their JL 'badged' machines (made by Zanussi/AEG etc.,) it came with a 3 year parts and labour guarantee (not a typing error). The ordering process was simple, efficient and delivery was FREE and best of all, actually arrived on the day they said it would!!!! There is a coupon floating around for £15 off a spend of over £75 I think. Give them a try, they are really competative. By the way, Curry's have just treated my friend like dirt over a washing machine purchase. Regards - sally0
