For christmas pressies, I want to make flavoured vodka and put them in small bottles.
1. Where is the cheapest vodka (any sort) I can buy? I found asda 1litre for £9.88, so far, but want it even cheaper if i can!
2. How can I source bottles? I have checked ebay and google but everytihng it in bulk or only 1 or 2. I want 10 (ish) bottles...
Any ideas people?
Ta muchly!;)

Vodka is cheaper than that at Aldi though I can't remember how much it is. I expect Lidl have it cheap too. Sorry, I don't know about bottles although I do wonder whether it might be cheaper to buy ten small bottles of something or other and decant (or pour away if your feeling wasteful) the contents. I can't think what would come in the right sort of bottle though, but then I'm not really sure what you are after.0

Don't buy "own brand" vodka, its bloody horrid, no matter what you do with it.
I'd suggest Vladivar, should be able to pick it up for about £9 a litre.
Failing that, go for the Smirnoff Red, £11 from Morrsions.
I'd suggest buying it asap, then putting a few packets of fruity skittles in the bottle, then leave it in the freezer for a few weeks.
Or, for the more extreme vodka, replace skittles with chilli's.
Lovely stuff.0 -
Me and my mates invented onion vodka last Friday.
I am unable to recommend it. _pale_If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

vladivar's not as nice as smirnoff imho
re the skittles vodka, make sure and take out the green skittles first!
they make it go brown instead of a lovely pinky purple colour0 -
sloe vodka imho much better than the gin version. very potent and worth mixing with something like redbull
sloes of course are free if you can be bothered to walk the countryside looking for themGive blood - its free0 -

A BRITAS water filter can do wonders for a raw spiirit.
But you might have to put it through it a few timesI used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -

i (vaguely) remember vodka and barcardi jelly nights - although i had more trouble getting the vodka jelly to set!
jelly babies are also a good option to make it flavoured, but they have to stay in there a while.
ebay is always worth a look for bottles - anything like this any good to you?:happyhear0
