vistaprint freebies!

hi all. this is my first post on freebies and bargains. please be gentle if I've done this wrong.
vistaprint.co.uk is offering lots of freebies until 30 sept, only p&p payable. there are 6 on the first page, and if you click on the 'specials' tab on the top, you will see some more. and if you go through every item on the product list, you will find a few more with their prices slashed down to 'FREE'.
I've just ordered over 90 quid worth of personalised stationary (notepad, namecards, note cards, return address labels, postcards and christmas labels etc) for 12 quid of p&p. I've even managed to upload my own designs for free even though initially it did show up as being charged 3 quid odd for uploading each design, which I was prepared to pay anyway.
I've had the order confirmation from them and they should be here waiting for my month long holiday. :T

!!CAUTION REQUIRED!!
I visited this site a couple of weeks ago when someone else posted this freebie.. please please please read exaclty what you are signing up for and dont just click happily away.!!
this company have popups that come up just after you have singed up for your freebie and i was caught out as I thought I was just completeing the sale, instead i had signed up for an special club service, payments can be taken from your bank account by direct debit, as you have just given them all your bank info! The club is one of those cheap hotel deals, meals out, theatre type clubs. (you can usually get these cheaper on the net anyway).
You have to telephone to unsubscribe form this if you have clicked into it.
I did receive my free address stamp but it did make me realise that I dometimes click far too fast!!:opinkpinkfizz

Yes I had the same experience. I got stuff from Vistaprint and when I looked at my Bank Statement I was being charged £9.95 each month for some reward scheme which I didnt even know I signed up for. I did get my money back, but please be careful!!0

To be fair it's because you fill in the 'eligable for £10!'
The small print says you're joining a membership
But they've realised that people are easily fooled and are nothing but friendly when refunding the money. Didn't have any trouble at all!
Plus of course... vistaprint are alllllwaaays doing freebies @ P&P prices or I'd never buy from them = )Tim0 -
Be very very careful with Vistaprint, I bought a £2.40 self inking print pad from them in one of their 'promotions' I neglected to read the incy wincy small print which I still say I didn't even see on the page, anyway they began taking £9.50 out of my bank each month for something they called the 'vistaprint rewards club', I had not given my permission for this and I went through a nightmare trying to contact them and when I did get through they said that due to me buying throught the 'promotion' that I was agreeing to join their special customer promotions club which in turn costs £9.50 a month! Well I wasn't having that no on your nelly, I threatened them with court proceedings and they duly if not begrudgingly repaid all the monies they had taken from me, but be warned it took them ages to repay and they didn't take the first £9.50 until 3 months after my initial purchase maybe hoping that by that time I wouldn't notice it and it would keep pumping my account. So good luck but be careful to check your bank statement I wish the OP all the best.

thanks all for the warning. I was pretty alert and not clicking on things without knowing what they are. did not clcik on any extra things other than the straight forward order. Have checked my order confirmation emails from them and no small prints to make me suspiscious so I'm crossing my fingers. maybe they have cleaned up their act after numerous complains? certainly hope so. but I do check my bank and credit card statements regularly anyway, so nothing will escape my eyes.
saying that, still worried abt any potential hassle if it does happen. any other persons out there with positive feedback from vistaprint please let me know? would definitely set my mind at ease while on holiday for the next month. cheers.0 -
Hi guys
a very very sneaky way to get almost further 50% off on the postage. But it is for advance users.
You need to use USA proxy servers to get to https://www.vistaprint.com , and then place the order with whatever discounted products they are offering, the postage in NUMBER is same but is in US dollors, but when u pay in pounds it get the exchnage rate.
If you place the same order on https://www.vistaprint.co.uk, you will get the same postage but in pounds, so it would be £12 , instead of 12$.
I just placed an order for 6 free products , worth over 60$ last week and got it delivered for 12$
Hope this help someone, and dont forget to press Thanks :-)0
