UFC welterweight legend Matt Hughes begins his quest for an unprecedented third 170 pound UFC® crown when he battles Brazilian banger Thiago ‘Pitbull’ Alves in the explosive main event.
UFC 85, which will pack 11 high impact bouts onto one unforgettable fightcard, also includes a middleweight showdown between UK superstar Michael ‘The Count’ Bisping and Jason ‘Dooms’ Day. UFC 85 also offers fans the chance to see Marcus ‘The Irish Hand Grenade’ Davis take on Mike ‘Quick’ Swick and Brazilian Fabricio Werdum collide with Brandon Vera in a heavyweight match-up. And Birmingham based Brit, Paul ‘Relentless’ Taylor, will throw down with Londoner Jess ‘The Joker’ Liaudin and Doncaster’s own Neil Wain will make his UFC debut.
