1. Open to UK residents aged 16 years and over except employees and their families of H. J. Heinz Company Limited and Tesco Stores Limited, each of their group companies, their agents, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion. Closing Date for receipt of entries is 3rd December 2008.
2. Entrants must be the parent of a child (or have parental responsibility for a child) born on or after 1st September 2002, and there must be a Child Trust Fund in the name of the child as of the Closing Date. The Prize is a £500 payment into the Child Trust Fund of a child nominated by the winning entrant, and which the winning entrant is the parent of or in a position of parental responsibility.
3. A Child Trust Fund can only be opened by a person aged 16 years or over with parental responsibility for a child born on or after 1st September 2002. You should be aware that this is a long-term equity-based investment and the value of the fund may fall as well as rise and returns are not guaranteed. The money is locked in and is only accessible by the child after they have reached the age of 18. Further information on Child Trust Funds can be found at www.childtrustfund.gov.uk/ - a website operated by HM Revenue and Customs. Neither H. J. Heinz Company Limited nor Tesco Stores Limited have any control or influence over this site.
4. To enter text “Baby Dreamz” to 60030. Texts will be charged at standard network charge, typically 10p-12p. Please note that these texts may not be included within text-inclusive packages.
5. No purchase necessary. For the same chance of winning send your name and address to: Tesco Baby Dreamz, PO Box 504, Leicester, LE94 0AE. Only one entry per stamped envelope. No bulk or third party entries. Only one entry per person, whether by text or mail.
6. The winner will be drawn from all valid entries under independent supervision and contacted in writing within 28 days of the Closing Date. The winner will be required to provide appropriate evidence of compliance with the terms and conditions of this promotion, including the existence of the Child Trust Fund set up as of the Closing Date. Following the Promoter’s confirmation of the details the Promoter shall arrange for the £500 to be paid into the Child Trust Fund.
7. Winners shall be required to provide Child Trust Fund account details and the date of birth of the child whose account shall be credited with the prize. Your personal details, the details of any winning child and its Child Trust Fund will only be retained for the duration of this promotion and the subsequent administration of the prizes, and will not be used for any other purpose.
8. The Promoter is not liable for any entries that are lost, delayed or damaged. Proof of texting or posting does not constitute proof of delivery or receipt.
9. The prize winner may be required to participate in unpaid promotion related publicity, (including a photographic shoot and interview).
10. Prize winners’ names (initial and surname of winning parent) and counties will be available to those sending a SAE to Tesco / Baby Dreamz Winner’s Details, PO Box 504, Leicester, LE94 0AE no later than 6 weeks after the closing date.
11. No alternative prizes, including cash, are offered. Prizes as are stated and shall only be paid to the Child Trust Fund of the nominated child of the winning entrant. Only one prize shall be awarded per entrant and one prize per child. In the event that the payment of the Prize into a Child Trust Fund will take the value of annual payments into the Child Trust Fund over the maximum amount allowed, the Promoter reserves the right to delay the payment of the Prize until after the child’s next birthday. Payments into a Child Trust Fund shall also be subject to the expiry of any “cooling off” period imposed by the account provider on any newly opened Child Trust Fund account.
12. All entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entries which it believes have not been made in compliance with these Terms and Conditions, including the requirements for a valid Child Trust Fund as of the Closing Date.
13. The Promoter's decisions will be final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
