Tesco do a cheap one in the section near the Pahrmacy where you buy the little travel things.
I do believe that most chemists will blister pack all prescriptions if requested but there may be a small fee - I think they also may take a bit longer as it is done to order and patient specific - if there are a few different precriptions it may be worth asking the chemist. The smallest deed is greater than the grandest intention ~ Anonymous0 -
Hi most pharmacies will sell the packs for you to do it yourself.
However as said by previous post Pharmacies will also do it for you. I work for Lloyds Pharmacy and we have about 40 odd patients on casettes (mainly old people who are on lots of tablets.) we order the prescriptions dispense them and deliver them so the patient don't need to do anything at all. We do not charge a fee but others may do. it can take a couple of weeks to set a patient up but it is well worth asking.
Good luckGive me the boy until he's seven and i'll give you the man.0 -
I've just found a few on eBay but don't think I'm allowed to do links on here
Some are selling on what they call Buy It Now whereby you don't have to wait for the auction to end, you can purchasie it there and then. Somebody is selling a nifty pill dispenser in the shape of a chest of drawers which looks good. They have good feedback too.
If you do a search for 'pill dispenser' and look down the Buy It Nows I think you will know what I mean.0 -
just been to my local tradex cash and carry, they are selling them in there for £1, they are a plastic box with several compartments for seven separate days, each with a day of the week on them. tradex have stores in leeds, lincoln, preston, nottingham, huddersfield and hull, hope this has been of some use.

Beware!
Some tablets are not stable when removed from their original packaging, they can oxidise and the active ingedients can degrade. Always ask your pharmacist before you use a dossette (monitored dosage system). It also introduces an extra element of medication error risk when you are moving lots of (little white) tablets around from one package to another.
