hair straighteners

I hope that this isn't too a mundane plea for help but I need new hair straightening irons as mine have died this morning, but do not know what to go for so many choices (& quite expensive) I have fairly short, fine hair with longer bits at the front and layers, please can anyone advise (can't afford really expensive ones) thanx in advance:o

I ended up getting the babyliss pro230 and I have to say for anyone else needing a new set of straightening irons these are great (they have been likened to ghd's but at a fraction of the price) they were £39.98 (sb £59.98) from Tesco's xx

i have them and like them, i use the low setting for a bit then the middle then give my hair a quick once over with the highest
even in the windy weather we've had recently my hairs kept its straightness so big thumbs up from meq
