We are after a Steam Generator Iron and spotted this one reduced, half price (£79.99) at Argos thought was a bit of a bargain
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4102007/Trail/searchtext%3ESTEAM+GENERATOR.htm
Anyone with any thoughts about whether I am right/wrong or suggest alternatives ?
Looking to pay no more than £80
Thanks

As there is no image I can't be sure but I think it's the same one I bought a while ago at half price. If it is..... it's pretty good. If you are replacing a 'normal' iron you will think it's fantastic. If you are replacing another steam generator you may be a bit disapointed. I replaced an challenge (argos' brand) steam generator and the other one was better but now I've had this one a few months I'm still happy with it.0

I would not be without my gen iron , this appears to be a good price for a good brand. The one i have is a Tefal , however other members of my family are more than happy with the Aldi one and its much cheaper. I do not know when they are due in Aldi again though.:hello:What goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0 -
I bought this one when it was reduced to £34.50, MR are great to deal with, free delivery and very quick. Keep an eye on their reduced area.

Tescos have the same morphy richards model for £45 which isn't bad. I have a different morphy richards model and think it's great.
