I Wanna - Spa Day/weekend

Hi All,
Prehaps not really very money saving but I REALLY want to find a special way of thanking a friend who has helped me get through a really tough time.
I was thinking that as we are both mums with young kids/jobs etc it might be nice for us both to get a break away from it all. A spa day sounds REALLY nice, one where you can relax for the whole day, be pampered if you like and go home feeling refreshed - even nicer if it was an overnight stay!!!
We are in Bucks but could travel a bit, does nayone have any ideas that could help??
HUGE THANKS,
Allison.

Whittlebury Hall in Northants (10 mins from J15A of the M1) looks to have a fantastic spa, I have booked a midweek silver package for March (£75 pp) which looks great value, it includes:
Use of the Heat & Ice Experiences (aromatherapy crystal steam, caldarium, drench shower, roman salt steam, sanarium, bucket shower, sauna, ice cave, tepidariums, foot baths, warm bench experience showers and hydrotherapy pool)
Dry Floatation (salt scrub, wrapped in blankets then left on a hot slab!)
Whittlebury Hall Massage
Lunch
They do other packages too with things like facials and manicures if that's more your thing.
Click on the virtual tour then hover over each section and click on each number to view all the sections. http://www.whittleburyhalldayspa.co.uk/index.asp0 -

if you do it through quidco too and you get £3 back taking the total cost down to £22!!! (virgin experience, then just follow through to treat me and its under there at special price) Even at full price this is one of the best value for money spa days. Ive research through them all and most offer only one or two treatments and nothing more. This offers a day at the gym too!!0 -
krayzechick - can you tell us where you got that link from please?
This only works if you go through the link above

This suggests this is some sort of promotional deal related to brinc whatever that is.
They also have a Balloon flight (for one) - £30 (£149 off).
Sadly I don't know anyone who would like either (except myself and the balloon thing but Mrs might go a bit mental).0 -
Managed to find it at £25 :j Shame there's nowhere near me that does this, was hoping to book for my sister who's having chemotherapy at the mo. Would have been a lovely (not to expensive) treat for her. Some people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass
