I was having the same problems with the site, it wouldnt accept my hotmail, said it was unacceptable, what ever that means, but has let me register with my other email addy, pipex
What we see depends mainly on what we look for

When you go to register it saysRegistrations from the following domains are currently not permitted due to either reliability issues or abuse:
* hotmail.co.uk
* hotmail.com
* bournemouth.ac.uk
* aol.com
so if you have one of those that's probably why it won't work
