Nice for a local pick up, but there are web sites which deliver for around the same price, give or take a quid. Just to give it some comparison for people.
Aria have them for 39.95 most days on http://www.aria.co.uk/DealForToday.asp Generic brand, but reliable. (I love the way it's called deal for today and most of the offers are up all week)
eBuyer tends to have cheaper p&p (depending on your choosen deliver - some times it free), and causes many arguements about if they are good customer service wise, but at the moment have a cosair brand 1gb for 45ish http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?rb=6808988287&action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=85832. Their email shots at the weekends occassionally have it cheaper.
and the other one I always use Scan have some generic for 42ish. again expensive p&p http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=159189 But often appears on their today only page for a couple quid cheaper. They also do the cosair for 45quid but p&p is high unless you can answer 10 questions in which case its free.
btw if anyone knows any other cheap sources of computer bits, please start a thread. I've found some places with single cheap bits, but it's rare that anyone undercuts all three of the above on a range of hardware.
....And on next weeks show I will be reviewing horses.stay lucky!
