Another week has flown by. Only another 10 days and DD goes back to school:j :j :j :j ....luv her really:D
This week we are having:
Thursday-Baked Spuds & Tuna/Sweetcorn
Friday-Fish & Chips from Chippy (DD away for night)
Saturday-Burgers cooked on BBQ & salad
Sunday-Lamb, Roasties, Mash, HG Carrot/Swede Mash, Yorkies & Peas
Monday-Chilli Con Carne
Tuesday-Fishfingers, Mash & Beans
Wednesday-HM Prawn Curry & Rice
Thursday-Shepherds Pie & Cabbage/peas

Have done well and stuck to plans last week - similar this week as courgettes still available!
1. Chick fric (one to eat, one for the freezer)
2. Sausages, ratatouille and pasta
3. Spanish omelette
4. Chicken thighs in sweet chilli dipping sauce, rice and watercress
5. Cottage pie (one to eat, two for the freezer)
6. Spag bol (one to eat, two for the freezer)
7. Some sort of veggie pasta bake

Here's mine for the week. I've had to alter the previous week's a little bit ast he OH has had a tremendously bad migraine, but hopefully this week should be a little better.
Thursday - just cooking for me, so might try a risotto
Friday - at a wedding reception, so freeeeeee!
Saturday - Lamb tagine in slow cooker
Sunday - Pasta Bake (attempting to make from scratch)
Monday - Homemade pie with Jacket Wedges and peas
Tuesday - Homemade meatballs with a tomato and bacon sauce with pasta
Wednesday - At mum's (bless 'er)
Thursday - Sausage Bolognese

I've been away for a while, but I'll try again
Friday: HM Pizza. Double chocolate brownies and HM ice cream for pud :drool:
Saturday: Chilli con carne, served with rice, tortillas, and sour cream
Sunday: Roast meat, roast potatoes with veg and yorkies (first attempt at yorkshires :eek:)
Monday: Curry with leftover roast meat, served with rice
Tuesday: Cottage Pie
Wednesday: Gnocchi with tomato sauce and pork chops
Thursday: Sausage Casserole
Breakfasts: croissants and jam/toast and jam/cereals/porridge
Lunch: leftovers/HM soup and bread/pasta salad
Baking: various breads - croissants, plain loaves, rolls, cinnamon 'tear and share'.
Chocolate brownies, hobnobs (thanks, twink!), bounty balls.

I have meal planned to the end of next week, as that is payday and the end of my GC month.
Thurs - Chinese chicken noodles - using a sachet of blackbean sauce lurking in the cupboard.
Friday - HM Pizza
Saturday: bacon & eggs for brunch. Then we are travelling to Halifax for a wedding reception so will be eating out in the evening.
Sunday: Travelling back from Halifax, but straight to a christening - OH cousins. I will then pop off the see my friends as she is also having her daughter christened. Unfortunately they both christenings are at the same time, different churches but not too far from each other. (Sorry OT) I have no idea about food.
Next week:
A combination of some of the following options:
1. Roast chicken - will need to buy chicken, but will freeze l/o and use some for sandwiches
2. Steak pie and new potatoes
3. Potato ash
4. Egg & chips
5. Chicken casserole & mash
6. Meatballs & past in tomato sauce0 -
i started this last week, and we have stuck to it so far
complicated as I am on special diet following surgery so planning for my DH and DS(7) who is away next week, so just for DH really!
Monday - Marinaded turkey steak (freezer) with pots
Tuesday - Rump Steak (freezer) with onion and mushroom
Wednesday - Sausage (freezer) and mash
Thursday - Steak & Kidney Pudding (freezer) and chips
Friday - Chicken curry & rice
Saturday - tuna & tomato pasta
Sunday - Lasagne
Again we've got nearly everything we need in :jWeight loss to date - 8st 13lbs :j0 -
Monday - turkey steaks, potato wedges, corn on the cob and salad
Tuesday - [STRIKE]fish, chips and mushy peas[/STRIKE] fish pie (freezer)
Wednesday - chickpeas, chicken and chorizo with green beans (freezer)
Thursday - Alex MacKay's ragu with spaghetti (freezer)
Friday - roast
Saturday - out

I'm ashamed to say I've fallen dramatically off the meal planning wagon and want to start maknig an effort again. I just wanted to say I was struggling getting going again so I thought I'd resort to a spot of plagiarism and now I have a nice meal plan. Thanks everyone!
Friday - lemon chicken, jacket potato and veg
Saturday - homemade pizza
Sunday - roast beef and yorkshire pudding
Monday - jambalaya
Tuesday - moussaka
Wednesday - husband will cook something tomatoey for his brothers visit. he wont tell me what yet though!
Thursday - chilli chicken with noodles
Friday - duck fried rice0 -
ok, well heres the meal plan for this week, will try to stick to it, nice and easy again as very colicy newborn needing lots of attention.
friday = kids out and oh fishing so sandwich for me!
sat= pizza and chips
sun= roast chicken with sage and onion, pea`s, carrots, runner beans, pots and yorkies.
mon= sausages, hash browns, beans, bacon and scrambled eggs.
tues= pork chop casserole, pots and garden veg.
wed= hm soup and fresh bread
thurs= bubble and squeak with ham and salad.One day I will live in a cabin in the woods0 -
Might stick to the weeks meals if I post them here:
1.BBQ chicken, roast potatoes, and beans
2.Toad in the hole
3.Chilli
4.Tuna(steaks unless they are overpriced), cous cous and salad
5.Bacon and mushroom omelette, salad and coleslaw
6.Beans and sausages on toast
7.Beef slow cooker stew
I have half the ingredients in the cupboard for these meals so I need to go out and buy the rest. I have about £56 pounds left so should have plenty left to get eggs, bread, milk, washing up liquid and fruit as long as Mr m still have 50p offers in stock!0 -
