Lots around here just now, have been looking at the recipes for all sorts of gin on here and wondered if anyone had made/tasted blaeberry gin as I thought it would make nice christmas presents. Anyone any advice?

We have lots of blaeberries here too but I'd not thought of adding them to gin. They are not as sour as sloes but that doesn't mean it wouldn't taste nice. I've just been using them in place of blueberries in muffins.0

I'm also wondering about raspberry gin??0

What are Blaeberries? Where can they be found?0

I often make raspberry vodka. It is just so good! Makes great presents - my family have admitted that they always hope I'm doing them the vodka and chocolate truffles for Christmas.
I too had never heard of blaeberries. I'm thinking of going blackberry picking and using those with vodka and gin.0 -

Was just about to ask but you beat me to it! I've never heard of Blaeberries before and I'm very envious of those of you who have wild blueberries growing nearby.0
