Ragu sauces £1.69 each or 2 for £1! Tesco

in It's gone, but was it any good?
This is my first Grabbit post, so please be gentle.

This morning in Tesco they had Ragu pasta sauces, about 3-4 varieties £1.69 each or 2 for £1 :confused:

I picked up 2, almost hoping to be charged the full price to get DTD, but the dicount come off and got the 2 for £1 :D

    Well spotted - good post!

    But I think these are buy one get 2 free in Morrisons.

    About 4 different types from what I could see - Traditional, Original, Spicy & Lasagna (sp?).

    Oh well never mind hopefully it will help people like me who don't have a Morrisons near :D

    The Tesco offer (2 for £1 = 50p each) works out slightly cheaper than Morrisons (3 for £1.69 = 56p each), but I much prefer Morrisons so that's where I got mine.

    It's just a shame that I don't really like any of the Ragu flavours except Original. The Traditional, containing fennel, tastes so awful I threw it away...

    Don't worry cande, it is an excellent Grabbit and there's no Morrison's here (NI) so I can assure you lots of people will avail of this Tesco offer including me!!! :beer:

    They are quite big jars, I would say 400-500 grams, not like when you buy an expensive make like Lloyd Grossman where the jars are small, its a good size. I think they only come in one size, the reason I noticed these jars is that Ragu dissappeared off the shelves for a while, so I was suprised when I saw them back on the shelf and really pleased when I saw the price :j

    Yeah I was in Morrisons today and saw them on offer. Was limited to 6 jars per customer. I got 6 jars for £3.30!!
