Didn't interest me just wanted to win the comp but that didn't stop them sending me a letter today reminding me about their launch this weekend.
They seem a bit dodgy to me saying they are giving away thousands of pounds of free items???Darren0 -

This was very weird they closed the launch weekend after Saturday and are now showing January. Wouldn't have gone for 10 pounds worth of Paypal credits had I known but mails to them bounce back.
A huge thank you to all who post the comps and deals that make life so much fun!0 -

the reason Price Plummet had to cut short the launch weekend was due to some unforeseen glitches and server problems, and as Price Plummet's emails are linked to the server, if the server goes down, the emails will get bounced back also.
Price Plummet has switched to a new server now so hopefully will be relaunching soon with no glitches or server crashes this time!
Hope this helps.0 -
Server went down on the launch weekend twice on the Saturday.
I managed to get an email through after they got the server back up and they continued the auctions till midnight.
You had plenty of opportunity to join in the auctions during this time. If you had bothered you could have had some amazing stuff for Christmas.
We noticed some glitches, server going slow etc. which is why they cut the launch short. One thing I do know is that I got my items and so did everyone else looking at the feedback people have left on the auctions.
As for giving away stuff, every auction they have listed so far has been a steal, on the launch even auctions which were not free started at nothing, so all you paid was your bids. These were not small items, Wii consoles, PS3 consoles and PSP's and robot vacuum cleaners, mobile phone watches and other things too.
Can you tell me how this was a scam?
Especially when it show exactly how skilled each player is and how many bids each user has placed on an auction, and they have coughed up the goods.
If anything they seem to be the ones out of pocket.
In recent emails they have kept us informed of progress with fixing some of the bugs and connection issues to bring a better service.
It was the first time their server went live, and no matter how many tests you do, the real problems only show up when you put it in a real environment.
I know, I was a tester, and at the time they had sorted out all the bugs from testing and upgraded the server it still hung on launch.
Once the website is running at optimum performance with no glitches then they will re launch.
And I for one am going to be there, because you have yet to show me any evidence that they are a scam. They delivered on a PS3 which went after five bids were placed on it, and the person got it in time for Christmas.
There is no pleasing some people, they want everything for nothing.0
