Yes there was an earlier thread relating to it . I got some a few weeks ago and it's rubbish. Blotchy patches and it isn't even waterproof .

Sorry to be a bit curt. in my reply Welcome to the board.

It's just that there are a few deals out there which may look good but ideally if someone has actually used the paper they can let us know the quality.I assume most of the major brands Kodak , Epson are fine -it's the more obscure that might disappoint. Eg has anyone used Georgia Pacific Paper from Asda? Looks like a bargain at about 5.49 for 100 sheets of A4 but is it?

Main requirements are quick drying, smudge free and if possible waterproof though that isn't essential. Weight not so important. I'm afraid the pound shop paper did not fulfil any of those requirements and had blotches as well..

I have just got some Kodak 6 by 4 Everyday photo paper 40 sheets for 3.99 ie 10p each = ink - You can print on both sides = from my local Superdrug.

First impression of one print - not bad - though doesn't appear to be waterproof unless it needs more drying time.. I can loosen the ink with a wet finger but otherwise acceptable. they also have 40 A4 sheets for £6.99.

    Thanks Patr100.
Only bought 1 packet though. Hadn't tried it but will be returning it on my next visit to the shop. Will keep searching though.
  • Hi, There are some good bargains on ebay and a number of ebay shops which specialise in photo paper. I've bought some Epson Premium paper (100 sheets for under a tenner) which dries quickly and appears to be waterproof.

    try http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Squivvy

There's also good prices on Canon paper.

Let me know what you think

Yes - some good deals there I am sure. I do like to have a cheap reliable source especially on the High st . Nice to be able to not have to wait for the post if possible. I have just taken the plunge and bought some Georgia Pacifuc matt photo paper from my local Asda - £5.49 for 100 sheets. Couldn't find any details of this particular range on their websiite but have printed a couple of test pages and am quite pleased with it so far. Dries quickly and can't smudge or take it off with a wet finger - It's only 120g/m2 but for around 5p an A4 sheet it's the best value I've found so far.

I have used this on a Canon IP4000 and Epson R300 and have to say the quality of the pics are excellent. It performs well on edge to edge printing and in my opinion is better on the Canon than Kodak paper.

Is this offer still on? I swear by this paper it is great stuff but my nearest ASDA is a 28 mile round trip. So I need to make it worth my while.

Not sure - You'd be better ringing your nearest one to check they've any in stock as well.
