    Competition Terms & Conditions: Penguin Prize Draw

    1. <LI type=1>In order to enter the competition, entrants must enter a valid email address and by doing so are agreeing to receive regular email communications from Teletext Holidays. Should entrants no longer wish to receive emails from Teletext Holidays, they may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. <LI type=1>Teletext does not sell or share your data with any other company. However for the prize winners only, we may pass your details on to our service providers and agents for the purposes of sending you the prize on our behalf. <LI type=1>The main prize is a holiday for two people staying at a 5 star hotel in Egypt for 10 nights on an all inclusive basis. This will include return flights and all transfers and taxes. This prize departs on any date from September 2009 to December 2009, excluding any holidays such as: Christmas and New Years. Dates subject to availability. <LI type=1>Spending money, airport taxes and any other expenses incurred such as telephone calls, laundry, drinks etc are not included and are the responsibility of the prize winner to settle. Winners must also provide their own travel insurance. <LI type=1>This prize departs on any date from 1st September 2009 to 31st December 2009, subject to availability. <LI type=1>The selected winner will be put in contact with the tour operator for this holiday to arrange dates which are subject to availability. <LI type=1>The main prize winner will also win 25 Penguin beach reads. These 25 books will be the books featured on the Teletext Holidays / Penguin beach read voting page, which the entrant has voted on to enter this prize draw. <LI type=1>There will be 120 runner up prizes. Each runner up will win either an adventure novel set containing 12 titles or a Penguin Gothic Classics set containing 10 novels. There will be 60 sets of Adventure novels and 60 sets of Classic Gothic novels. Each runner up winner will be assigned one of these sets. We regret that runner up prize winners cannot nominate which set they wish to receive. <LI type=1>The closing date is Friday 31st July 2009 at 11.59pm (UK time). <LI type=1>Penguin will send out books to the main winner and the 120 runners up. <LI type=1>Entrants must be at least 18 years of age and be a resident of the UK to enter this competition. Entrants must also hold a valid passport. <LI type=1>The competition is not open to employees associated with Teletext Limited, Penguin Books Limited and their associated companies or their families. <LI type=1>Automated third party entrants are not accepted. <LI type=1>Prizes may not be transferred to any other person. <LI type=1>There are no cash alternatives or alternative prizes available. <LI type=1>In the event of the advertised competition prize being unavailable Teletext Ltd reserves the right to offer an alternative prize or prizes of equal or greater value. <LI type=1>Winners will be randomly selected from all valid entries and will be formally notified (by email) within 28 days of the closing date. The first selected name will be the winner of the holiday prize. The following 120 names randomly selected will receive the runner up book set prizes. <LI type=1>The main winner of the holiday prize, will be notified by email and must respond within 30 days. <LI type=1>The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. <LI type=1>Competition winners may be required to take part in or co-operate with publicity. <LI type=1>Use of false name or addresses, for example, a name by which the entrant is not usually known, will disqualify them from receiving any prize. Teletext Ltd reserves the right to oblige any potential winner to provide documentary proof of their identity and age and address as directed by Teletext before such person may claim their prize. In certain circumstances, Teletext shall, at its discretion, require any person to present themselves in person supported by such documentation for identification purposes (we will reimburse all reasonable travel costs incurred) prior to releasing the prize. <LI type=1>Teletext Ltd. shall be entitled to terminate or modify the promotion or to modify these rules at any time prior to the closing date by publishing any such modification or termination on the Teletext website. Entry in the competition implies acceptance of these rules. <LI type=1>Entrants may only enter this competition once. <LI type=1>These rules are governed by English law.

    worked for me on IE but only after i had clicked on "compatibility view"

    it wont work for me on IE as well link dosnt work as well :confused: ( thank leisa click compatibility view works fine )

    Never even heard of compatibility view before but found it in Tools and it worked fantastically! Thanks for the heads up on that one!

    Yeah, if you've installed Internet Explorer 8, it plays havoc with some web pages but compatability view sorts it out.
