I have the sd 255 with dispenser, but basically the same machine. There was quite a long thread on them jan/feb time. It is truly brilliant and will give you great results.

Does anyone know anything about the Tesco breadmaker BM08 on tesco.direct? It advertises access to the Panasonic cook line, so I wondered if it was manufactured by Panazonic.

the specs do look a bit similar in format to teh panasonic they offer(the loaf sizes says 2 then quotes 3, but cook times, advice line, rye description and the nuts and raisin text are the same

    BM08

    Panasonic SD255WXC

  • If any of you have access to Which Magazine (maybe there's a copy at the library if you don't subscribe), they made mention of the other things you can cook in most breadmakers (jam(!), pasta, cakes); worth thinking about this as more than a breadmaker.

The top 3 makers were all Morphy Richards (48245 Compact £40 got 76% exception value, 48268 £70 got 76% and 48271 £80 got 75%). The Panny 254 was 4th at £80 with 71% and the 255 at £100 got 71% also in 5th place. The Tesco one was 11th (out of 13) at £40 with 55% bad for rapid white and wholemeal loaves apparently.
  • Regarding Breadmakers and the Tesco Breadmaker BM08 does anyone have a manual, there wasn't one in the box and Tesco can't find a replacement. The line is discontinued now, if no one has a copy do you know where I can find one?

Don't they allow you up to 28 days to take it back? Or have you visibly used it?
