Oxfam and Marks and Spencers

A work colleague was telling me that Oxfam are doing their promotion again, where you take in unwated clothes from M&S, and they are giving you vouchers for M&S.

Does anyone know if this is true?

As far as I know the promotion has never stopped - it's just not advertised as much now.

I was in M&S today buying stuff for £1 in the final clearance sale (non-returnable) - I said to the SA that if it's no good it can go to the charity shop & they'll probably sell it for more, & she then said if I take it to Oxfam I'd get a £5 voucher. I just checked the Oxfam site & this is a voucher for £5 off when you spend £35 on clothes & homeware, available when you donate any M&S clothes (except underwear!) So spend £1 in the clearance sale & get a £5 voucher!

Go to the M&S website, its on the Home page right at the bottom right of the page, part of their plan A.
    Oxfam Clothing Exchange

Donate clothing to Oxfam, 1 of which must be an M&S piece of clothing and receive a 5 quid voucher valid for one month to use in Clothing, Home and Beauty when you spend over 35 quid.
No underwear, socks, swimwear and no soiled or damaged goods accepted.

Our local Oxfam never check what you take in but last week one voucher was for March ( it was 30th!) and one for April (two bags.) I tried to find someone in M&S to give the March voucher to but no body was buying anything!

I wasn't aware it had stopped either, but made a point of checking at my local Oxfam on Saturday- still on, they have posters too.

I work in an Oxfam shop and it hasn't stopped. Usually we have the following months vouchers in during the last week of the month and ask customers if they want a voucher for the current month or the next month.
