moozies challenge here for another week

so here we go ~~~~
Last weeks thread ~ http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=585124&highlight=moozie+28thGood afternoon lovely DFWs
Now for anyone looking in, please feel free to join - the more the merrier! Basically, decide on the amount you want to spend up to from Sunday until the end of the working day on Friday then pledge it here and off we go! The challenge is about incidental spending and not for stuff that should be budgeted elsewhere such as bills, groceries, debt repayment etc but you decide what to include at the end - this is about changing your habits and improving your recording of your spends more than anythng else.
Have a great week everyone and keep it low!!!

Evening PAP, and Moozie, and all who follow.
Well my first week and I'll be green :j I spent only £8.90.
I was helped by my Dad buying me a Sunday paper & DD paying the toll x 2 "because I have no change:money: "
This week I have £40 in cash......but I don't intend on spending more than £10, (so shall I put £30 back in my account???Probably not

Hello pap
I spent £47.59, so reached my target :T. Will you put me down for another £50 for next week please? As i'm back at work , so travel costs etc will be taken from my budget.0 -
I didn't go overbudget. I did spend but it was all from various pots which had been saved for. I don't have anything left though until I get paid which is lord only knows when. So, this week I have to keep my spending down to a minimum. Outside of the groceries I don't plan on spending anything, but I'll give myself £20 just in case.:A

Right this looks like fun, I now walk to work so no petrol/fares. Take sarnies/soup so no lunches now so should be pretty good. See how I've improved since joining this board.
I made £130 profit today from a car boot so will bank that.
Put me down for spending no more than £20 this week - yes I did say £20.0 -
I spent way too much, I couldn't cope without this site! Oh well, at least I suppose I've redemed myself by paying £300 onto my credit card.
Well this week I need bread, salad and cereal, although that will come out of my grocerys budget.
So I think I'll give myself a tenner this week and see how I do.
Good luck all.

Hi all
this sounds really silly but I kind of forgot I was doing this challenge and didn't add my spends up properly! :rotfl:
Anyway, I'll pledge £20 again this week and try and pay attention this time! Total debt £21,000 :eek:Weight loss to date - 2 st, 2lb:j0 -
I went over budget - I'm just glad we don't include Saturday's as well, or it would be a complete disaster !
Last week, I spent £25.86, so not good against my £15 budget.
I don't need any extras this week, so my budget will be :
£2.00 (paper)
£2.25 (slimming club)
£2.00 (contingency)
So I will say £7.00 for this week (which actually gives me £2.75 contingency, but £7.00 is a nice round amount)
Fingers crossed ![STRIKE]DFW Nerd number 729[/STRIKE]Debt Free & Proud0
