Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 46 - Post your finds here

I braved the cold yesterday and ventured out to the 'big' Boots stores (our local is a tiny one). Although there were a few empty shelves, I thought both the Boots I went to - Southampton West Quay and the Above Bar one - still seemed to have a fair bit of stock. I got a few small gifts for presents, but did well with stocking up on JK wipes and nail files and boosted my points enormously! Thanks to whoever had posted here previously with the tip to look at the aisle with the nail products in, as I'd otherwise have not found some of the items (there was only one pack of wipes on the JK stand).

If anyone's looking for the S&G glove set, there were about 6 at West Quay, and lots of the big gifts. Still lots of Sanctuary left, which was a surprise, as they usually go quickly. I was particularly after the big peppercorn grinder, but it seemed to have vanished. My little local store had tons of them before Christmas, so I was sure I'd get one in the sale, but they had none either. There's either been a sudden demand for giant pepercorn grinders, or they've taken them away! I enjoyed the 75% sale online last year, so am keeping my fingers crossed for getting some bits on there this year.

Went to Boots, Riverside on Sunday and shelves practically empty! Not sure if they getting more stock.

Chapelfield had several S&G Glove Story set's on Sunday, haven't seen any sets in Castle Mall, but managed to bag Pink Pamper set in Castle Meadow store today - yay!!

Does anyone know if the JK 750 points deal finished please?

Also - this is only my second post, but am completely addicted to this board - dh thinks it great as its weaning me off eBay!!

Did you get them when they were on offer @ 3 for 2 or did you pay the current price of £25 x 3=£75?
Also did you manage to get the GWP?
I managed to pick up 2 today = £25 x 2 along with 4 GWP!!! paid with points, but was wondering if they were still on 3 for 2.

Hello folks. As the end of the year is fast approaching anyone care to reflect on what their best bargain/freebie/glitch of the year has been?

I have only been Bootsing and following this thread since September when little DS was born but bargain hunting and rummaging elsewhere way before then!

Thanks to all that share their knowledge and advice and support. You are great bunch, so give yourselves a round of applause!:T :T


Anyway, my faves would have to be the free No17 moisturising lipstick on the 341 (with email voucher,) and the nice purpley R&M bags on 342 priced at £2.13! I know the recipients of these have been very happy this xmas, oh and the gloves went down a treat also!
