That's cheap!
To compare, us four are off to Vancouver on Friday for two weeks. Just the flights on their own with flyzoom.com came to £1500 and that was CHEAP!!!!
(Yes, four return flights at a headline rate of £129 each way comes to £1500...)
Compared to other carriers at typically £700 each however...British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
My "flights" on Eurotunnel last week cost me £60 return and my week in a Eurocamp caravan in the Champagne region of France cost £140. Meant I just about had enough money left to afford the tour of the Moet & Chandon cellars, plus a champagne tasting at the end of it!

It did cross my mind that if any fellow MSErs took up the offer it would be nice to know and perhaps make their aquaintance on the plane or at the resort.
As for Mexico welcoming hordes of coupon wielding fanatics ? I don't know.
What I do know is that when we went to Cancun a couple of years ago, we went to the two big local shopping malls, one was full of designer label shops & the other based around a huge Wal-Mart superstore, and I (and others) got some bargains whilst we were there.
The Wal-Mart had BOGOFs & 3for2 offers, coupons on in-store leaflets for immediate reductions at the tills and special offers and sales items in most departments.
Over the years we have learned what to look out for in shops all over the world in many languages whilst trying to buy a momento or souvenir of our holiday whilst getting a bargain at the same time.
For those who may be joining me in 4 weeks times, or going to Mexico at some other time, then this might help (if you are interested)
Since Mexico is basically Spanish speaking, this will also be useful for Spain.

We stayed at the Royal Decameron for our honeymoon and you will not be disappointed.It is a lovely hotel,really clean and the food is excellent.I would highly recommend the horse riding in the sierra madre mountains trip,if it is still available.Have a Great time.:j0

I've been to Puerto Vallarta and it is by far the best place I've ever been to.
It's a place thats high on my list to re-visit. Only now I've got 3 kids :eek:0 -
