mercers debt collection!

i am on a £1 repayment plan. however, mercers debt collection have been chasing up what i owe barclaycard. they are saying if you pay £400 odd quid now we will let you pay 70 quid a month! i have been told by payplan to ignore it and maintain my payment of £1 but i'm getting worried at what will come in the post next!
capital one accepted my payment plan and are happy for £1 a month. aqua(halifax) may do but had to send a letter to stop them calling me...
what should i do or has anyone been in the same situation regarding mercers???

this happened to me keep paying £1 they will eventually get msg and pass debt on to DG Solicitors or Howard Cohen & Co Solicitors(cant remember which is which debt any more but deff had dealings with mercers debt collection agency) they didnt hassle me much just a few computor letters at first and then accepted £1 per month have been paying them for 18 monthes now and have only just uped payment to £2 per week(cut out middle man spectrum and used fee to up payments)
keep strong keep going you will get there and they will get the msgi have an intermittant connection so sorry if i dont reply straight away
