Failed Mayonnaise - can I do anything with it

Hi,
I've just atempted to make garlic mayonnaise and it is just runny liquid - even after trying a second time (i.e getting another egg and adding the original failed stuff to it - very slowly!).

I really don't fancy trying again so just wondered if anyone has any ideas for what I can do with my runny mixture of eggs, garlic & oil! Can it be cooked / added to something else.

I hate throwing food away so any suggestions much appreciated.

Thank you

Jo

Hi, did you use just the yolks? as your question suggests you might have used the whole egg.
If not, have you got a food processor you could put it in,might help
If it tastes ok could you turn it into a dip maybe

I tried with just yolks and as that failed I then attempted to rescue it by using the whites too - lots of recipies suggested using the whole egg so I figured it was worth a try!

It's been in the blender for ages & whisked for ages so I don't think further mixing will fix it.

It's to go with something I'm cooking this evening so it'll just have to be a runny sauce rather than a mayo I think.

I can't have it anyway as I'm pregnant so can't eat raw eggs - my OH will have to cope with runny sauce!

    Savoury pancakes.
Add flour and milk. The oil in it will mean no need to grease the pan.
    Add dried herbs.

Didn't get round to it last night but I'm going to have a go at the pancakes later today.

I'll try and remember to report back on how successful / unsuccessful I am!

    Thanks
