if you half the quantities in this - http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/653/mars+bar+mud+cake
might help? the chocolate will say what quantity it is, and you can use that weight as a guide as the butter would be equal quantity? Well thats what id do anywayA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Choc chip and hazelnut cookies. (this makes about 12-18 big cookies- like M&S or Millies size)Borrowed from Greyparrot on the shabby chic forum.
115g/4oz plain flour
1tsp baking powder
pinch salt
75g/3oz butter or marg at room temp, diced
115g/4oz caster sugar
50g/2oz soft light brown sugar
1 egg
1tsp vanilla extract
125g/4.5 oz choc chips (or chopped up choc bar, dairy milk is gooooood)
50g/2oz hazelnuts, or one chopped up mars bar
Oven, 180
*Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl, set aside (personally I never bother sifting!)
*Using an electric hand mixer, cream butter and both sugars, beat in egg and vanilla, add flour beat well at a low speed,
*Stir in chocolate and half the nuts (or all of the mars bar)
*drop onto greased trays, space well apart (we often end up with one huge cookie after baking as we don't leave enough space lol). Flatten with a wet fork.
*Sprinkle remaining nuts over top of cookies if making the nut version.
*Bake 10-12 mins til golden
*transfer to wire rack, let cool (or eat while still warm- that's what I do!)
Just realised you have no measuring equipment. You may be able to find a conversion thing online. __________________lost my way but now I'm back ! roll on 2013
