I have a question

I have been sent a form for an IPA which is a result of a NT Code - on the agreement it states until the end of the tax year - does this mean that i will no longer be liable to pay the amount requested come next 6th April, does that i will not have to pay anymore money afterwards? This is the way that I have read it that i will not be liable after next april and as such it ends (especially as my ad is 19/5/09.
)

BSC 160 that's me! :j 2 years to go before I qualify... and am let loose on the public

Hi,
If the IPA has been done solely on your NT tax code then payments will end April 09, or earlier if you change jobs.
This should not make any difference to you in real terms, you simply pay the amount you would normally pay in tax to the OR instead.

Yes that's correct, it's only to the end of this tax year, or until you change jobs.
But this is only the NT tax IPA, it has nothing to do with any IPA you might get on your surplus income, which, if you were to get one, would last 3 years.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

The IPA has been set up on my Tax code, not any excess income. However, they did set it up on the wages that I had received over the last five months, which included lots of overtime. Need to send back another IPOQ now, so need to get one on that and send back the agreement. Just needed to clarify in my own mind that this was indeed the case - I know that they could still change it, but have there been many cases where this has been done? To be honest; now I know how much I have to send them each month - this gives me a clearer indication on my budget now - budget budget budget these are my words now - if i can't afford then - save - if once i have the money and i still want it - fine get it - but knowing what I used to be like, it'll be nice to have a little rainy day money - been a few years since that happened! Thanks to Debt Doctor and all the others on the forum for the support and advice given it goes a long way. :T
