Thanks for posting.
I got one from Hippo a while ago and its a plastic bag that is quite fiddly to put in your cistern but worth it to save water !
P.S The Hippo one is still available here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1160977&highlight=hippoI’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Toilets are designed to work with the amount of water they deliver if they are set up correctly.
Using these bags only causes problems
The number of calls I get to houses saying the toilet wont flush properly, imagine their shock when I pull out the bag and cut it with my stanley knife then throw it in the bin, and hey presto the toilet flushes correctly :rotfl:0 -
Agree with above, all this thing really does it to stop your toilet flushing properly with newer cisterns. May be of some use with older ones though. We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0

I've found some good freebies
, I was trawling through the site to save money on mywater bills and Severn Trent are offering the following freebies and offers:
- A free ShowerSave device, the device is completely free of charge and will save you water, save energy and will save you money (up to £40 a year on water and energy bills)!
- Free save-a-flush bags, they are completely free of charge and will save water, and could save you money if you’re on a water meter (like me!)
- A free watering can and free delivery throughout July with selected waterbutts!
- Visit the Severn Trent Water website and have a go on the free water usage calculator, see how much you use, learn how much you can save, saving water could save you water, energy and MONEY!
I live in the midlands and have moved into a new house and am now a water meter and was looking for ways to keep my water bills low. I found all of these! :money:Result

Welcome to mse
You may find it easier to do a seperate post for each link because its easier for the bg's to merge the posts if one or more of the links are duplicates as is the case here.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Thank you. Seem to have picked up a few of these recently from different places. Have installed them and the toilet is still flushing really well.0
