All entrants must be over the age of 18, be a UK resident, and hold a valid in-date passport and visa for travel to Australia. Employees of the promoter Hills Balfour Synergy (on behalf of Tourism Queensland, Qantas Airways, Qantas Holidays, Tourism Tropical North Queensland, Real Travel and Olympus), its promotional partners, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion, and their families, are excluded from entering this competition. All prize travel will be subject to fare rules and Qantas’ General Conditions of Carriage and the prize winner is responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents e.g. Passport and Australian Entry Visa and complying with all health or other government regulations. Competition closes 1st September with winners notified on 15th September. The prize is for 2 people only and includes return economy class flights departing from London Heathrow, flying to Cairns with Qantas Airways and Jetstar. Travel must be between London Heathrow and Cairns, via the normal routing as identified by the Qantas Booking agent and is valid on Qantas direct services and services operated by Qantas subsidiary airline Jetstar. This prize is valid for travel departing from the UK from 30th June 2008 to 16th June 2009, with bookings made at least 30 days in advance of departure. No changes can be made to travel arrangements once tickets are issued and both winner and guest must travel together across all sectors. All travel must be completed by 30th June 2009. Departures ex UK are not permitted between 1st July 2008 – 14th August 2008 and 1st December 2008 – 15th January 2009, and certain hotel black-out periods will also apply, and are at the discretion of the promoter (Hills Balfour Synergy). The promoter cannot be held responsible for any circumstances causing the winner to cancel or change their booking. A maximum of one entry is allowed per person. Flights are non-inclusive of taxes and fuel surcharges, and are the responsibility of all prize winners. The prize also includes 7 nights accommodation, 3 days touring and Cairns Airport transfers. All meals and any additional activities and personal expenses are the responsibility of all prize winners. The winner and their guest will no accrue Qantas Frequent Flyer points on prize travel, and cannot use cash or Qantas Frequent Flyer points to upgrade the prize. Travel insurance is not included in the prize, and all prize winners are responsible for arranging their own travel insurance. All prize winners must ensure they hold valid travel insurance to cover them (and everyone in their party) for the entire duration of the prize trip, and this must be both fully comprehensive and organised pre-departure. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or any other prize. All prizes are subject to availability, with the promoter (Hills Balfour Synergy) and all prize partners included in the competition, to take no responsibility for any inconvenience or disappointment caused due to the unavailability of flight seats, accommodation or any other components to the prize. The promoter (Hills Balfour Synergy) and all prize partners, accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by the prize winner/s or their guest/s in entering the draw or accepting the prize. The entries will be judged by an independent judge. The judges decision is final, and should the prize winner be unable to accept the prize (for whatever reason), the judge will then redraw the entries and an alternative winner will be selected and notified. The winner agrees to have his/her name published and to take part in any publicity arranged by or on behalf of the promoter in connection with the prize draw, including photographs and interviews.
