bought a JVC 15" LCD TV from Tescos at Hexham yesterday for £134.95 This has to be the cheapest around for the size. Found it on pricerunner double the price http://www.pricerunner.co.uk/sound-and-vision/vision/tv/364595/prices

This is £269.97 in Doncaster, and I can't find a phone number for Hexham store :mad: , I would have travelled up there for this price.

Hexham store telephone number is 01434654400, check the stock they were flying out the door yesterday , I was lucky they rang me as soon as the stock arrived and I had to collect it within 2 hours. I would check with head office to see If any of the stores local to you may have stock or will be receiving stock soon. I would offer to pick it up for you but the postage etc would make it more expensive and you may be lucky to get it nearer to you.0

Contacted tesco, all they could say was it would be an extra store item but could not specify the branch!!0

This may be a special at Hexham store I rang Kingston park Newcastle and they only have Alba £179.99 and Phillips £199.99 and don't have the JVC one. If you ring Hexham you may be lucky and I will help where at all possible0

Aw Smartiepants Thats a shame I travel to Hexham once a week I like shopping up there and the Tesco Extra has just opened so possibly this is to entice customers in. The Sales girl said they had 26" in at £130 last week and were snapped up in a couple of hours. I am going up again next Thursday so I will check what they've got and let you know.0
